Nonsense. It’s vandalism full stop. If a town wants to set up a blank wall specifically for graffitti artists go for it. On all concrete structures? NFW. Graffitti in public places that aren’t designated for such is destruction of someone else’s property.

No thanks. Murals, yes. Clean concrete, walls etc, yes. Random tags, no.

Unlikely assumption. Back in the 1950s, civic activists called for public racetracks to be built in more areas, claiming that the hot rodders who competed illegally on the street would cease this activity if they were granted access to a place where they could do it legally. You can guess how effective that was.

True. Boeing broke their part of the bargain. They get to be subsidized up to their eyeballs as long as they don’t act like they’re being subsidized up the wazoo. They got lazy and started acting like they were guaranteed Government subsidies, and we should be doing something about that. Like maybe nationalizing it,

Hard eye roll. Ease up on the Fox News there, pal. San Bernardino county is also one of the most conservative in the state.

Boeing would have ceased to exist decades ago without this sort of shit. Yay, Murica.

TO be fair the whole “ownership experience” is a large part of buying any super car. And frankly the more expensive the car, or exclusive the brand, the more you get out of it. I mean on the extreme end you have a company like Pagani, they will happily do just about ANYTHING you want. Mike Yin, I think that’s his

Pretty much this. If you don’t spend it one year you lose it the next. It’s a shit show.

If only Boeing had experience in making high volumes of commercial passenger aircraft with multiple lavs per plane servicing hundreds of passengers per flight. Perhaps then, they could have used the knowledge and experience gained from that endeavor to equip the C17 lavs with proven designs for soap dispensers.

Another day, another reason to hate people.

Government contracting is a science in and of itself. This fiscal year’s encumbered funds gets a slight mark-up for the next fiscal. Rinse and repeat.

Over 90 percent of all Ferraris ever produced are apparently still on the road  sitting in climate controlled garages.

You can either do what Europe does with Airbus and directly subsidize your favorite aircraft company, or pretend to not do government/industry welfare payments and let your chosen aircraft company just blatantly overcharge you and call it free market capitalism. It is pretty much the same thing, but America has some

WTF is wrong with people? I hope the dipshits who did this fall off a bridge and are need of a medivac that won’t happen because this chopper is grounded.

Also if FSD completely misses a deer on the road, what makes you think it would have better luck making out a cyclist or pedestrian?

Better than an avowed Hitler-fan.

Yeah, I’m only getting it on my phone. Weird, but I suppose it shouldn’t be surprising.

“Big Boy” conjures up something different for me.

It’s not even an edge case in California where these cars are tested. I came across so many deer in the Bay Area when I lived there.
