Maybe I’ll finally be able to replay the Final Fantasy that started my streak of not finishing Final Fantasy games.

It’s not that it marks the one where I feel the story lines just started getting even more convoluted* than FFVII’s, it’s that I played it on a shared PS1 and my save kept constantly getting saved over.

Yeah, I want to hear all the juicy details too! Like did they improve the audio quality or maybe redo the music altogether? Change any translations? Will it have that audio bug with the restarting overworld music that the other remasters had? Give me the juicy details!

FF9 is kinda in a weird spot. The models are remastered but the backgrounds are not. And it’s just a port of the PC/mobile version.

well to be fair 9 on the switch is a port of the mobile version which was partially remastered. The character models were cleaned up
