You’re right. How dare Critical Role try to tastefully incorporate different cultures into their setting! Since the cast is white, they should just keep Critical Role in a white setting and not explore any other cultures whatsoever! #KeepCRWhite!

Your last sentence really sums it up. Every Kotaku article anymore is so pessimistic that I’m starting to lose interest in Kotaku at all anymore. Every article is negativity and it’s getting old.
Twilight Princess was actually a launch title for the Wii. It actually released on Wii a month before GameCube. So I’d put Twilight Princess as a Wii game, not a GameCube.
Yeah, it’s not a big deal because fast travel and Wyrdeer make it more or less a moot point. But yes, it just keeps getting more and more expensive. I’m currently at 15k per inventory slot.
Holy crap, I hadn’t made the Team Galaxy/Team Galatic connection yet. That just blew my mind.
The first few are to get you hooked, then he jacks up the price because he knows you’ll keep coming back.
I’m gonna go with Oshawatt. Not only because I am a water type starter for life, but also because I think Samurott looks awesome as hell.
Personally, I’ve be ever been much of a graphics snob. I’d rather have a fun game with crappy graphics than a crappy game with great graphics. So I’ve been excited for Arceus for a long time.
I agree. I’ve had a ton of duels like that where I take a 1-2 minute turn and then I’m stuck sitting there for 5-10 minute for them to take their entire turn. It’s all Link summons now and it makes for ridiculously long, boring turns.
Also, Valhalla is honestly not that great. Sure, it’s fun, but it gets old quick because the enemies and maps are exactly the same from region to region and(to me at least) it got boring quick.
I’m the same. I told myself I wouldn’t buy above retail price. Then I was at my parent’s house and saw HSN(the Home Shopping Network) was selling a PS5 plus a year of PlayStation Plus for $850. I jumped on it immediately since I knew it was at least legit. I’m not proud of it, but at least I have one now.
Honestly, Ybarra seems like a decent guy and this would normally be a step in the right direction. However, I still won’t spend a dime for anything ABK until they actively and disgracefully fire Kotick. Not this whole “keep him on until the Microsoft merger so he gets his $300 million golden parachute” crap.
Honestly, I’m so tired of the main games and their mechanics(and the fact that they are all now easier than dirt), so I’ll take what I can get. I couldn’t even finish Sword and Shield because I just got tired of it being the same thing they’ve done for over 30 years with barely any changes.
If you watch the trailer, the only overtly aggressive Pokemon are the ones that have the red glowing eyes. Likely some kind of shadow/corruption(probably what’s also affecting the legendaries). Other than that, they only seem to attack if you make the first move(like try and fail to capture them).
I have a Gameboy Advance SP and an original NES and regularly go back and play old NES and Gameboy games and almost every one of them still has their save files, even ones that I haven’t touched in 1+ years. Those batteries are shockingly long lived.
Amen, man. I’m not a YouTube fan myself personally, but at least Mr. Beast is trying to do some positive. Is he going to totally change the work overnight? No, not at all. But at least he’s working towards making some positive impact. This is crappy internet journalism, at best.
With Activision Blizzard, it’s more like “Who tried to molest her?”
Specifically women and POC because then they can try to divert the headlines away from the issue.
In his Dev announcement, he said that in the context of talking about how Stardew was built upon an already existing premise/gameplay structure. He said it wasn’t a bad thing, but it also limited him in how he built the game.
Man, nothing makes me more proud of my country than a major company being allow to sexually harass people, even to the point of death, and getting nothing more than a “for shame” for it.
