To me, this game is the opposite of what you just mentioned. Lackluster story, but the combat being a mix of RTS and RPG really sold me on it. I’m still working my way through it, but the gameplay is enough for me to be having a blast.

I have the first generation of Switch, bought it on launch day and I’ve played through the entire demo and didn’t have any problems. Maybe a bit longer load times compared to other consoles, but nothing performance wise. Ran totally smooth to me on my Switch.
If ol’ Musky openly supports you, you know you’re doing something wrong and are probably a piece of shit.
To be fair, combat in Final Fantasy hasn’t been fun since X(I’d also accept arguments for 13, it was fine).
I personally hated 16. Mainly because the gameplay was beyond boring and basic. It was a glorified button masher with 0 depth. That being said, I’ll agree that 16’s story was extremely emotionally satisfying and some of the best Final Fantasy had to offer and can’t even compare to 15.
I agree with your first point about the announcing release dates later in the cycle. I think a perfect example is FrostPunk 2. For the last year or so, their release date was “2024”, that’s it. And yesterday they announced “First half of 2024”. No hard dates, no artificial promises, just that it’ll be released when…
As someone who escaped from Hardcore Christianity, I gotta say the number 1 spot HAS to go to Religious Zealots. They think they know everything and when that “knowledge” is questioned, they just respond with “because God” as their defense/explaination.
And yet, you don’t see how sensitive employee data getting leaked could ruin lives. If you don’t think that’s potentially life ruining, then give me your name and social security number. See how you feel.
Tell me you didn’t read the article without actually telling me you didn’t read the article. It specifically says that sensitive employee data and financial information as part of that leak. Both could easily destroy lives.
Even if they used parental controls and it didn’t work, then just… sell the system. If it’s causing your child to be that bad, then sell it and make them live without it. Odds are the kid doesn’t have the money to buy a new one. Problem solved.
This was my exact thought. Did they try to put parental controls to lock out the system? They exist for this exact reason. And if the kid gets around it, then… just get rid of the game/system.
I’m with you. I’m almost done with the game and I’ve encounter exactly 2 bugs. One enemy in a scripted fight spawned under a pile of debris and the other was missing audio in a cutscene(I just quit and reloaded and it worked). I don’t know how people are encountering so many bugs like they claim.
I mean, the official announcement for it says it’s takes place before Super, so they only have power levels up to SSJ3. All the forms from Super won’t be a thing in this.
According to the official announcement, it’s canon and takes place before the start of Super. So it’s in the space of time between the end of the Buu saga and the start of Super.
I mean, she’s a vampire/demon. Just add a voice filter that deepens it or layers it. It wouldn’t be great, but it would be better than her bad acting.
The Trails of Cold Steel 2-4 let you import a save that gave you items and bonus stuff from having played each of the previous games.
I mean, Persona 4 and Golden used different VAs for Chie and Teddie. The original VAs didn’t come back, so they totally re-recorded the two characters and had the rest of the cast just return and add in the missing lines.
Kinda same. I get replacing some of the VAs for some reason or another, but changing every one kinda sucks. I liked the OG cast and most are still active VAs, so I know they would probably come back. I’m fine replacing a voice or two(aka Vic/Junpei and Karen/Aigis) but not the whole cast. That’s a big bummer for me.
What, you didn’t like Tartarus blue, same Tartarus but light blue, same Tartarus but baby blue, same Tartarus but light green, and same Tartarus but emerald green?
I’m still shocked that Atlus seems so intent to ignore FES. I thought it was good and it was a great epilogue to P3
