I seem to recall it was fairly serious, unless Connery or Ferguson were on.

Good for her, but you don’t get better at Jeopardy by watching Jeopardy. If you learn something from the show, it means they used the question already and the information is not helpful. You train for jeopardy by reading trivia and history books and whatnot. I hope she does that.

Emma Stone is just like some different type of human. Some kind of hyper-motivated future mutant who branched off the genetic tree a hundred years early. It makes her fascinating, alluring, and a little frightening.

Too bad this came out before the series ended. They could’ve had an animation of Meadow struggling to parallel park if you were playing badly.

Yeah, Sopranos pretty much nailed that aspect of NJ life. There used to be some kind of weird industrial area breadstick place near my house growing up that neither sold nor made breadsticks and was never open except at random times in the middle of the night while big cars idled in the lot and beefy guys stood around

Does the machine simply shut off when you reach the end?

That second one is actually the start of the episode, and the rest is all about him learning to not be transphobic, which the kind of people who post it always seem to leave out.

Now playing

Meanwhile, everything I know about the Sopranos (seriously, I have never watched a minute of this show) I learned from this comedic review of the 2006 Sopranos Playstation 2 game.

Woke up this morning, shot myself some pinball.

Literally all I have seen of this show are the two clips that circulated on Twitter. One, where he freaks out and screams at a senior doctor, “I AM A SURGEON!” then melts down over whatever. Because autism, I guess? Non-autistic men never have meltdowns.

Oh yeah, check it out. Snl even mocked his bizarre fixation on YMCA on weekend update. The "real" village people show up to sing a song in the tune of YMCA demanding he stop.

The YMCA reference pertains to Trump. The idiot would (and probably still does) play it at all his rallies and he'd jerk around in an attempt at dancing. There's ymca trump supermixs on YouTube of all the rallies.

You are a bad person... my brain is now writing songs for Platoon: The Musical. The first one is called “Fuckin’ ain’t fuck”

Came for the comments. Stayed for the “I like risotto with Angourie Rice” jokes.

What’s funny is that I, on the other hand, have absolutely no interest in the Wicked movie!  And I love Wicked--I’ve read the book and seen the stage musical twice, and I’ve watched that PBS special about it a bunch of times. lol  But seeing it as a movie doesn’t excite me at all, and the fact that they’ve dragged it

Fascinating. Of course we know the culture was there, if only concealed. Is there a protocol for ‘close readings’ that indicate coded language?

I have season tickets to a local theater so I saw the Mean Girls musical about a year ago and was surprised that it was a pretty fun time. The songs were generally bops and it added some stuff to the show that was fun. I was kind of looking forward to the film, but then discovered they cut two of the best songs (Where

The original struck gold with the core cast in that fun way you see with high school-set movies where they managed to find a bunch of really good young actors who would go on to do great things. Rachel McAdams is incredible, Lizzy Caplan is great in just about everything she does and we’ve seen in recent years just

I want a real version of Stop the Planet of the Apes, I Want to Get Off, then they can do a film version of that.

well at least it’s fey ripping herself off i guess. happy tim meadows is still getting a cheque.
