Ok, I feel ya. I am the sole Girls fan in my circle of friends, and I get really exasperated when people don't get that I like the show DESPITE all the characters being absolutely self involved jerks. I simply assumed that you just didn't understand that women, especially if they're as clueless as Marnie, often fall

I don't know how you don't understand me feeling empathy for the character. I get it if you're personally sick of the whole unlikable and self involved protagonists thing, but people are often stuck in relationships that are absolutely toxic, yet they remain in denial until the shit completely hits the fans. I thought

Desi is a man-child, of the worst kind. Marnie is just blaming herself for every shitty thing Desi does. I really hope the show isn't taking this to an abusive relationship type thing, because usually in the real world, that's what Desis would do to Marnies. She's insufferable for sure, but she is also deeply insecure

Wow. Did NOT think I would regain my capacity to feel empathy and kind-ish feelings for MARNIE. Jesus Christ, Desi is so awful.

Also Jaime was hilarious this week. His newfound confidence leading to truth bombs being dropped everywhere was so good.

So hot

I actually liked this one better than the second and third episodes of the season…it felt more lo-fi and truer to Broad City roots, and I felt that Ilana became kind of one dimensional in those episodes but she was amazing in this one. She is the Weed Queen we need.

Maybe I'm projecting, but it's probably because of his intense love for Zach Braff

"Stop thinking this is goodbye, start knowing it is, BA-YEEE" Nick's goodbye messages were amazing

My pleasure!

ok champ

Again, this list was created in honor of International Women's Day, not North American Women's Day. I get that obviously the author would be more familiar with North American artists, but it should at least be acknowledged that the list focuses on primarily North American artists and not anywhere else.
This happens

Amruta Patil and Reshu Singh from India, Miriam Katin from Hungary, Asia Alfasi who's Libyan-British, Francesca Ghermandi who's from Italy, Hwei Lim who is Malaysian, Chie Kutsuwada who is from Japan…

These are all…American cartoonists. (or Western, idk)
Maybe artists from a few different countries would be nice for INTERNATIONAL women's day.

I feel like Jane and Michael get married at the end of the season, they have sex and then the writers kill him off. As a #TeamMichael #TeamMogelio fan, I'm not having fun with these dark thoughts.

I don't know, Rafael hasn't even watched The Sound Of Music, maybe Frozen slipped past him too

ugh

The Elementary parody was HILARIOUS. I loved how Jessa was trying not to laugh about it but Ray was actually super into the show and not in an ironic way.

God help us.

I agree with you, modern day romcoms are honestly exhausting. And often imo, the wrong ones get all the praise. Any good genre movie or book is transcends its genre, including rom-coms.
