(big sigh) …season six.
Although Bobby's (aka Ellsworth's) reference to Deadwood was admittedly great.

"Oh… awkward…"

Uh-oh, it's magic!
Morgana really is positioning herself to corner that female demographic of fake medieval England, isn't she? (Especially with her new "I'm-Every-Woman" powers.)

Yeah, at the very, very least, watch the absolutely-perfect First Season of FNL.

Plus the writers must have realized that dramatic tension is not built with endless monologue-ing while waiting for a werewolf to turn.

ONE Apache!?
The aliens are (supposedly) this big national threat, blowing up the Washington Monument and warranting ALL the President's attention…

I was left wondering whether Earth's observatories can pick up a reply from a far off planet this quickly?

Uuuma… Oprah.

M'eh. I prefer the subtleties of Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge.

The manga's creator hadn't come up with an ending when he made the anime… (the manga was completed AFTER the film was released.)

Damn fine cup o' coffee!

Didn't they all the moments occur in Season Two?
That season's a big gaping vortex of garbage in an otherwise fabulous series. (Probably didn't help to come right after the note-perfect first season, huh?)

Being Human… Skins…
Was freaked when I saw the header for this review, "NOT A US REMAKE OF SPACED!! Is nothing sacred!?"
…But I see that the reviews for the UK show with Simon Pegg & Co.

The UK pilot was fantastic… then increasingly not-so-much.

The "climatic battle" of the UK series one finale was hilariously underwhelming too. That's when the UK show lost me.
If the US version continues to copy the UK show almost verbatim, should be episode six. Can't wait!

But I love my Companion Cube!

The blonde (Beth Riesgraf) was Earl"s doormat ex-girlfriend in the first season of My Name Is Earl: the episode "Faked My Own Death" and cameos in a few others, I think.

Got misty-eyed with the Littlest Hobo reference
Could all but hear the theme music playing in the background: "Maybe tomorrow I'll want to settle down, Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on…"

Shawn of the Dead?
Nothing on this note-perfect, insanely rewatchable zombie-comedy flick (post-Scott Pilgrim Edgar Wright backlash?)
No Bill Murray cameo, but otherwise loads better than Zombieland.

Quite Liked Tokyo Godfather & Millenium Actress
Everything he did was great. Was looking forward to his next work, especially as anime generally seems to be stuck retreating old ideas (Hayao Miyazaki) or marketing cliches (K-On!).
