I couldn't agree with you more. I've literally saved the earth a little bit by uninstalling and blocking flash in my browsers. My laptop would switch to discrete video when flash was loading - causing additional heat and power consumption... just to load a damn advertisement or widget.

You are so right... I absolutely detest low res screens. I was handed a brand new 15" i7 HP at work - and it had a screen resolution of 1366x768... what - the - frack? I'm not carrying around a 7 pound laptop that has a useless display. Why do people still order these, or better yet - why are they still made?!

Others are reporting a bug in Lion / F.Lux that causes this. Restarting the app fixes the problem after waking up the computer.

Moving from a ThinkPad T400 to a new MacBook Pro 15" - has been a conflict. While I'm totally in love with the design and build of the MBP - I miss the ThinkPad docking station. Drop and go, no cables to worry about.
