Need to complete a sentence? Here are a few ways: ;)

"...the end result is the same: People who make it go unpaid."

Wait. That's who that is?

To be honest, having played the 3Ds remake there is no way I'm going back to pre-rendered background Ocarina.

Seriously. It's the game that put pre-rendered backgrounds on the map AND they were gorgeous.

Awesome! Thanks for this!

"Building Krieg up from scratch doesn’t feel too exciting. Things really get going when you approach the level 30s and have room to play around with your skill tree."

Considering how FFXII looks on my PC it not only deserves an HD treatment, it will be easy for them considering how much effort they put into it the first time. It's like they planned on doing an HD release and did all the textures extra large the first time through. The only thing that's not made for HD is the HUD.

Strangely enough your criticism of characters is why I couldn't stand X. X remains the only FF I've ever sold to Gamestop after finishing it.

Good on EA here. The NRA and gun manufacturers threw our hobby under the bus after Newtown, despite the large amounts of money game makers give them.

Maybe the demo wasn't a good salesperson, but within moments of actually getting into a battle I was turned off. The controls just didn't do it for me. It didn't "feel" good in my hands. I don't know. *shrug*

"Survive with the help of two screens."

Yeah, except you can't look at commenters on Kotaku and claim that they're an unbiased sample of the user base. There are enough people playing their 360 without an internet connection (who never post on Kotaku, for shame!) for the idea of an always-online console to be absurd.

"Here lies Erdrick."

And we wouldn't know about any of these if not for the emulation craze of the late 90s. :) +1 for emulation.

I bought the hardcover "Complete Collection" shortly after it came out (I think last year). It's good. Definitely worth it if just for the art alone. One of the characters in the movie is a dead ringer for his character in the comics. Overall I prefer the movie (Cliff is more likeable, Jenny more believable, et. al.)

"Lousy Feds."

Wait, so is this on Steam? *checks* Greenlight, but still waiting.
GOG? *checks* Nope.

"...to play it with friends..."

True, but the big drawback for me is that after class change it's the only one of the six who can't use any magic. It keeps you from filling in the gaps of the spells you didn't pick up earlier. Thief/Ninja all the way for me. :)
