Oh crap! You just reminded me that this is still installed. A mistake I should soon remedy. Thank you Kotaku! :)
I've been playing on the 3DS. Back when I still had my iPhone I tried the iOS version but didn't really like it. The touchscreen made the difference for me. I wasn't able to be as accurate as I knew I could be and I thought maybe the capacitive touch screen was the problem.
I'm not going to lie... Theatrhythm Final Fantasy is my favorite music game of all time.
This would be my problem with Near on my Vita. There are maybe five other people with Vitas in this town of 20,000, and it's pretty clear none of them are actually using the Near app.
This reminds me of a post I saw somewhere once (Tumblr?) where someone said that given his famed trip through the Kessel Run, Han Solo was a time traveler. They said, "If the Millenium Falcon travels at 99.999% of light speed..."
So now that it'll be checking online to make sure you're a paying customer or whatever, that basically confirms my suspicion that the next gen will require CD-keys or the equivalent thereof and that "online passes" were simply a focus test of sorts for what restrictions the market would allow.
You know I played about an hour of the first Uncharted and never looked back. I just got sick of unloading a clip into guys wearing nothing but a bandoleer and watching them get up.
After looking it up it seems they only did it for PS2 and XBox. I had the GC version, which didn't have all those changes. instead, what it did have was the jump and shoot buttons reversed. There was much raging. ;)
You're absolutely right! We should wait for Bandai Namco to make the official $5 app.
Hmm... I don't remember anything like that.
I'm a PC player and this doesn't bother me at all... other than the fact that they probably won't bring that UI and Controller support as an option to PC. It's seriously not too much to ask. :\
So is it still too much to ask for Mega Man Anniversary Collection as a downloadable PS2 Classic for Mega Man's, you know, anniversary?
Here's hoping when it comes it'll look great on larger screens. :) Love my Nexus 7. It would be perfect for this.
Yeah, I quit buying games for my XBox over a year ago for much the same reasons. I have my PC and my PS3, and as far as home gaming goes, they're all I need. Now that Dust is coming to Steam, Trials just hit Steam, and Fez is supposed to be on the way, I don't feel bad about waiting at all! :)
Capcom has ruined my optimism. I'm waiting for the game to come out and everyone notice the moon level is missing (now you're realizing you watched the trailer and didn't see it).
I had to read the title and article twice before I realized this was Assassin's Creed II. Which is too bad. I can't bring myself to finish III and would love to watch it as a film.
Their answer is, "We'll have a new SimCity for you to buy." It's the same answer EA will give regarding people wanting to play older Maddens, and Activision will give when people want to play older Call of Dutys.
The gaming industry has no interest in making the kinds of games that made PC gaming what it is today: thoughtful, intelligent, player-focused games with serious content built specifically for the platform we love.
Wait. 700 #1s?
