Just sayin'.
Just sayin'.
I wish I could say the same. I just couldn't get past the controls. The 'clumsily falling' bit was cute, but honestly after a few missions she should have been used to it and just segued into full-on controlled flight. It seems like Raven had, so why couldn't Cat?
One of the reasons I went with Vita for this handheld generation was the screen size. So this definitely has my piqued my interest.
Um... You mean like how I can set Steam to only show installed games? Or just my favorite games? Or I can organize them into custom collapsible groups and, well, collapse them? There are lots of options in Steam for organizing your collection.
So you don't recommend it mostly on the basis of an unsuccessful attempt at open world gameplay.
Yeah, because the connectors on cartridges never wear out, right?
You mean the game that forces mods to be distributed through [Battle.net] so developers might be tempted to sell them (when Heart of the Swarm releases). Anyone want to bet against Blizzard taking a 15% cut? Anyone? :)
As soon as they come up with a way to sacrifice some core mechanic (like 'fun item drops' or 'simple mod distribution') to perpetually monetize Starcraft: Ghost and Lost Vikings 3, Activision will give them the green light.
When it became "Draw Some of this Movie Advertising We're Throwing In Your Face" I stopped playing.
Considering what I was rewarded with for playing all those indie games and getting all those potatoes at the Portal 2 launch, I'd say Valve paid me quite well for essentially being a marketing shill. :)
Completely agree with you on point #2. When other developers (Runic and Gearbox) are touting "Offline Single-Player" and "LAN Support" in their bulletpoint feature lists for TL2 and BL2 respectively, there's a problem. Since when do those have to be listed explicitly as features?!
Honestly I feel about this game like many Star Wars fans probably did about Old Republic. I love the lore, history, and the world of Tamriel so much I couldn't care less if its' a WoW clone, I'm going to play it for a few months anyway.
Thank you so much for this post. I'm tempted to steal it. I think I have some friends who need to read it. :)
What's Unity?
Um... fake?
"and current Ubuntu is *not* intelligent design, for desktop computing."
This is nothing compared to "Leeroy Jenkins" being an answer on Jeopardy.
I used to get upset about memes like this, but then I took an arrow in the knee.
I haven't played IB2 in ages. It looks pretty but that's about it. On my iPhone 4 the controls don't respond very well and the frame rate is sometimes terrible. It's bad when the knock-off/clone (Blood & Glory) runs better than the original. Still I was looking forward to Clash Mob.
Yeah but, we've seen this game running on PCs. They've used laptops to show the game off. ([polytroncorporation.com])
