Fair enough. The soundtrack CD is my only real problem with this for the price. And I'll be honest, that statue is going to sit on top of my bookcase gathering dust and only rarely being blasted with canned air to be cleaned.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that everyone using the phrase "stupid statue" or anything of the sort didn't read the books. "Destiny's Edge" wasn't my favorite of the two, but Rytlock was definitely one of the better characters. He can always go on top of my bookcase next to my Tron: Evolution lightcycle

The demo left a terrible taste in my mouth. I'm new to the series (and not an extreme sports game veteran by any stretch), but after watching Giant Bomb's Quick Look Road Show I was intrigued. It looked like pure unadulterated fun.

Haven't you heard? The cool kids are all hooking up over Words With Friends now.

That pic... of Will Smith playing NES. I don't know if I can articulate how great that pic is. It is my childhood in black and white picture form.

According to their previous blog entries the beta will occur in repeated weekend-sized chunks throughout the beta phase.

"What Zynga thinks I do..." makes this one all worth it.

"Why do we keep making monitors wider and shorter, but also keep putting information in applications at the top and bottom?"

"For the love of god, lighten up."

Meh. I had designed my own trade-in system.

Madden 12? NFL 2k5?

I've been keeping an eye of Legend of Grimrock. I'm really psyched to play it. I'll be picking it up for PC and iOS.

Now playing

So here goes... Is this insulting the fans or actually being clever/funny?

I'd argue that they've been pushing for that anyway. Call me cynical but I'm convinced that the reason there's been such a push away from couch multiplayer and split-screen options is not because online is the big new thing, but because the old way signifies lost sales to them.

I've been calling it since the online pass made it past consumers' radar untouched: the next generation console games will simply have CD-Keys like PC games have had for years. You buy the game, you enter the code, the system verifies it online, and bam, that copy is rendered unplayable by anyone else.

Yeah, no. *My* PS3's next big Japanese RPG is Ni No Kuni.

I just got the game a few weeks ago but last night was the first time I saw someone undeniably cheating. I decided to spawn in a plane and was promptly one-shot from across the map. Then it happened to everyone else on my team. People finally chose to stop spawning when he was about 60-1. Then to my amazement (though

Parasite Eve. I never got around to buying it when it was released but I picked it up through PSN several months ago. I haven't been feeling like playing anything else, so I thought it was time. I'm about half way through and loving it!
