Do you think I could order a 911 with an awesome cloth interior like that? Not that I could ever afford it

This will fail because the first person on the delivery route will inevitably steal the breadsticks from someone else’s order. I know I would if I was drunk

I couldn’t get past the paragraph about honking in the city. Come on now. I live in Boston and restrained horn use is not part of our vocabulary. An uber driver is blocking the road and you can’t go around? Sustained honking! Someone is blocking traffic to wait for a parking space to open? Sustained honking! I

I watch the Mecum auctions on tv from time to time and I can’t figure out why anyone would send a generic used car to one of these premium auctions. No one is going to bid on worn car that could be bought at a used car dealership down the street, and certainly not going to pay the auction markup in addition. Seems

The joke’s on you...sometimes the blinkers really don’t work on BMWs. Guess I ran out of blinker fluid this weekend

I suppose this isn’t really a “crossover” but MB does currently make a convertible SUV. And it’s awesome in the most obscene way possible

You forgot to add “/sarcasm” at the end of your post

It’s all fun and games until this happens

Seems like the easy solution is turning around and selling it back to the HOA at a nice profit. Which would be especially satisfying

I selfishly kind of hope gas prices spike so I can get a huge discount on a lightly used Yukon Denali or Escalade when someone freaks out at spending $100 to fill the gas tank. I’m still disappointed that I didn’t end up buying a Hummer H2 back in 2009 when people couldn’t give them away

Please summarize the mental state of someone who spends $41k on one of these. A loaded, 2016 CPO Scat Pack with a loud and awesome V8 can be had for $35k

I’ll have to find a rainy weekend to read the remaining 50 or so forum pages. That’s an impressive outcome

Ha, I think last time I looked there were only about 60 pages in the forum!

Oh wow, it’s amazing he was able to fix such a complex engine

That $50k repair bill for the exploded engine is truly terrifying. I got lost for hours reading that forum a couple months ago. Did he end up getting the car running?

He can buy a “new” one with the odometer rolled back to 1 mile in a few years.

I own a BMW and I feel obnoxious wearing the free BMW hat that I got at the BMW driving school. However, if I’m ever lucky enough to own a Ferrari, I’ll totally be that person wearing a Scuderia Ferrari hat around

My X3 35i is more than fast enough for day to day driving (around 5.3 sec to 60 I think) and pretty fun in sport mode on back roads. There are crossovers that aren’t totally boring, and as someone who only has room for one car, this one works out pretty well.

I’ve been through those toll booths so many times...that’s a pretty boring place to visit (I went to college 10 minutes from there)

I feel like it’s much more complicated, and this idea of autonomous driving doesn’t really encompass how people use their cars outside of getting from point A to point B. As someone who enjoys driving, I’m fascinated by the push for autonomous cars. Here’s a few (very) random things that seem to be missing from the
