None of those were fantastic. And none of the twist in this movie had any impact because literally every scene was a fake out.

That’s the confusing part of the TLJ backlash, it’s like the fans lost all sense of perspective and forgot how much worse the franchise could be in the past. TLJ at its worst was mediocre, and at its best was fantastic.

lol Luke is a jerk. There’s no redemption for him, he conveniently slips out of character to create a villain and then later trash talks that person he failed. Like jesus great way to close Luke’s story.

It’s not the most ideal explanation of the force but at least they actually tried something and were going somewhere.

Eh, The prequeals films have more on screen lore and world building.

TLJ is preatty hard to watch...like really hard to watch.

And TLJ took an established iconic character and made him drink straight from an alien tit and generally be a horrible person who considers killing children and mocking people that he himself fucked up.

Don’t confuse this with me thinking the prequeals are good films.
