Counterpoint: All awards shows are kind of inherently garbage, and including announcements and trailers for upcoming games makes the VGAs more interesting and relevant (to me, anyways) than something like the Oscars. Read more

I think Robocop 2 is generally considered an OK movie. Not as good as the original, but not an insult to it, either. It’s tonally consistent, at least, which is more than can be said for Robocop 3, which is the real problem of the trilogy.

This sums up my problems with Starship Troopers pretty well. There’s just nothing to care about in that movie, and it makes the whole thing pointless. Boy, if you think these comments are salty now, wait til they announce Half Life 3 to ALSO be VR exclusive, because the Half Life games are actually glorified tech demos, and VR is the only place where they can push any boundaries and do something interesting. Read more
