People will 100% argue chemistry with you (or just start calling you names).

Going to finish up The Frozen Wilds and Undertale and then probably stick to my Switch since I’m travelling next week. Looking forward to Prey or maybe restarting Bound since I seem to be stuck in a glitch.
Ha, I was just thinking of I Think That I Would Die -> Gutless -> Olympia.
Phoenix: Consolation Prizes -> Rally -> Long Distance Call. I feel like this album married their French retro sensibility with the then-current Strokes and fucking nailed it. I’d also listen to these three over and over as a little mini-album.
I think this is why I find all of those amateur take-downs of, say, The Last Jedi, so annoying and solipsistic: they’re condescending and pedantic while being blissfully ignorant of the larger context of criticism and analysis. (i.e., “It’s like a discipline without the discipline of all of the discipline.”)
Now, now. Let’s not get crazy.
Da fuh kind of person names their daughter Line?
Mewes kind of looks like he’s selling homemade kombucha at the farmer’s market.
Zoinks!
“...[H]ighlighter pens that lent her reading material the colors of two different kinds of lemonade,” is so affected and badly written it sounds like a parody.
Buddy Babylon is the funniest book I’ve ever read and I’ve bought it as a gift for at least three people (plus used copies are like $1). That and You are Worthless.
“I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently, but I can give you my complete assurance that my work will be back to normal. I’ve still got the greatest enthusiasm and confidence in the mission. And I want to help you.”
Oh, god no. (I hate you, Frostclaws). I was just referring to the Focus revealing their weak points that you need to target.
“Shut up, Updike!”
God I love Kristy MacColl’s cover of “You Just Haven’t Earned it Yet, Baby”
I remember when Fear of a Black Planet went to number one right after SoundScan was introduced. It sort of presaged the cultural shift that was coming.
There are elements that annoy me, like the traps and health being in the same menu or having to continuously re-focus on an enemy to target their weak spots, both difficult to navigate when you’re in the middle of a fight. And the HUD is especially jarring after the elegance of BotW. But it’s beautiful and it did…
That is true but GoW 3 is so pretty.
