“Goodbye, Bort!”

 The alliteration is wannabe tell #1. It reeks of someone who wants to be a “Writer” (i.e., perceived as observant and intellectual) but doesn’t want to do the hard work of actually writing.

My friends were Houdinis when their first kid was young. If they were out and she started up they were gone before I knew what was happening. Their kids are older now and very well behaved when we’re out at a restaurant.

Because eventually the Sun King will go mad and the Carja’s red raids will weaken tribal bonds just as Hades is set to destroy humanity again?

The public transportation in HK is amazing. The same card will get you out to Tai Po for BBQ on the subway, a scenic tour through downtown in the top of a tram, and a short ferry ride to Lamma Island to chill on the beach.  All for like $5.

The first time I heard it was from my Jewish boss and I only gleaned the meaning from context cues. I thought she was being ironic, but I’ve heard it 100 times since then.  I still kinda pause when I hear it.

After sinking a shitload of time into Horizon Zero Dawn, I’m using Undertale as a palate cleanser. It’s as adorable as advertised. I just finished HZD after sinking about 120 hours into it. It very much opens up after you head west and the story of the apocalypse was kind of fascinating to me and offset the tribal ridiculousness. I’m debating downloading The Frozen Wilds just to hang out in that world some more.

There’s a pretty common scam where they’ll say there’s “dark energy” or an enemy out to get you and then hit you up for $100 to perform ceremonies/light candles/etc. to get rid of it.

I agree that Shangela is missing the Uniqueness and Trixie is finally showing some Nerve, but my main problem with this season is that everyone is way too self-aware and afraid of the fanbase. At least Raja is back on Photo Ruview.

The Tomb Raider reboot was ok, but why would I play Uncharted without the sizzling homoerotic tension between Nathan and Sully?
