It’s not uncommon for people who “have to go to Duke” to still not be Duke fans. One of my friends went there to get a doctorate, but has been a lifelong Carolina fan.

I’m more offended that he said that after claiming last week that he was a “lifelong [N.C.] State fan”, as if those two things are not completely incompatible.

You can only really justify cheering for Duke if you or a close family member went there, otherwise you belong in the pantheon of terrible sports fans, like Notre Dame Football and NY Yankees fans.

As someone who was born and raised in Durham, I can tell you unequivocally that being around Duke undergrads is the worst part about living in Durham.

Duke is not an excellent school. Duke students are at Duke, which means your classmates would be idiot sociopaths (as would you).

I believe he went to Duke. Which, sports aside is a really excellent school. It’s just that you’d have to defend your choice for the rest of your life. Don’t go to Duke.

You can’t just casually admit you’re a cannibal or Satan without stopping to explain. I see no difference here.

You know what these guys really need? A $54,000 per year tax cut so that their conspicuously consumed dollars can trickle down to the 24 million who are soon to be without health insurance.

If you hacked into your companies HR system, Then filled out if you filled out your time sheet for 4,000 hours, you would be paid for 4,000 hours; it would be stealing. Just because the company deposited it in your account doesn’t mean it was given to you.

Uhh what? EA only gave them coins because they created a tool that would trick EA into giving them coins which they turned around and sold for profit.

If you don’t see the crime here, you don’t know what fraud means. They allegedly used deception (sending the server false signals) to receive a benefit. This is no different than sending a bank false data that results in money that is not yours ending up in your bank account.
