ToyTalk has said parents can opt to receive daily or weekly e-mails that allow them to access the audio files of their child's conversations with Hello Barbie.

I don't see how her being 'troubled' would have lessened his responsibility in letting his fucking tires go bald and continuing to drive his car around with people in it.

I worked the drive thru at McDonald's as a teenager. I was the perky, "Have a super day!" girl on staff that I'm sure everyone hated. I'm positive they were staring at my back, silently wishing the swift and inevitable crushing weight of adulthood on my chipper demeanor. Who could blame them?

Drugs are a helluva drug.

Dammit, now all the Dallas area folk are going to be shooting off their guns into the night, trying to hit the rare night-flying pelicans. This is why we can't have nice things.

Sexual openness doesn't preclude "commitment," it just precludes commitment to the practice of monogamy, which is very important to some people and less important to others—just like most of the other big joint decisions in marriage. As for the hypothetical scenario I'm talking about, obviously I'd want to work out an

I'm not worried about it. I'm married to a very faithful and honest person. But thanks for your well wishes. :)

The working late/butts in the seat mentality is so stupid. If I can get my work done in six hours, why should I stay the extra two hours? I'm not getting paid extra when I stay late to finish something or work on weekends or at night. The quality of work should matter more than physical presence for all employees.

She sounds like she was pretty much a dick as a manager if you DIDN'T have kids. For fuck's sake people, some of us have lives, hobbies, OTHER family members we like to spend time with. Companies have stopped giving a shit about any of us... why do they think we'll continue to sacrifice everything, and kill ourselves

I don't have children, but I still give the side eye to people who'd prefer to stay late at work, despite the fact that everyone else can accomplish the same work during normal hours.

Cool! Now, all we need to do is have all the people with any authority at all in business actually get pregnant and give birth to with their very own babies since humanity proves over and over again that respect for others and empathy are nearly as fictional X-Men mutant powers.

I hope you're wrong too! Not because I specifically want you to be wrong, but because it would be really nice if the reality of this story was as Amy said, and they're both relatively content now.

I can see your perspective, but that's not how I interpreted those quotes. Him not getting turned on by her fucking other guys doesn't necessarily mean he's super upset about it either, jealousy is pretty common even in healthy poly relationships. How you deal with it is what's important.

Having arguments and intense

I am noticing a strong whiff of disabilism in this whole thing, I have to say.

"If this was a husband cheating on his severely disabled wife in this fashion, I highly doubt we'd be getting comments about how "beautiful" it is."
If the situation was exactly reversed, they had talked to it and come to a mutual agreement, and both parties appeared to be happy I would totes be calling it beautiful. I

Yeah, I think the fact that when he found out they didn't just call it quits and they found a way to make it work for both of them was particularly beautiful. It's obvious from this interview that they love each other very deeply and are very invested in their relationship.

I used to love to eat sour patch kids until my tongue bled. At some point they made them less sour and I was very sad!

I consume bottles of Frank's Red Hot with the fury, but after I'm done eating the actual meal, I make little puddles of it on my plate and lick it off my finger until my tongue is basically useless. Hurts so good.
