Grand Prix was shot in 70mm and shown in (some) theatres in 70mm with awesome 6 track surround sound. I saw it in the 70mm first run as a wide-eyed 12 year old and it is absolutely astonishing in its beauty and thrill.

There was a drag strip, but it was in Fremont, off what was Durham Rd. (now the sonorously-named Auto Mall Parkway (there's remains still visible here). It got the big deal racers of the time. From the Facebook page for it...

Cool Rollsamino. I need one.

Sewage Assessment is the best Scorps album ever!

Meta Melrose Manning.

Yes!

The MKZ's moustache does not look like John Wilkes Booth. His drooped down. I think it looks like Jerry Colona's. To my knowledge, Jerry Colona has not successfully assassinated a sitting (either in the physical or constitutional sense) U.S president. There are the persistent rumors he took a shot at then ex-president

Did Ken Block visit Twede's Cafe in Twin Peaks (North Bend, WA) and have some cherry pie and a damn fine cup of coffee? I have... I Have... I HAVE... EVAH I....

Paul Newman (father Jewish - self identified as Jewish) - motorsports deity

The #1 answer is of course the 1988 DAF 95 Turbotwin X1. But you've got that covered.

A breadvan.

2nd that!
