Yes and no.  Some of the new flavors taste great: the cranberry Red Bull and the Monster Hydro drinks, in particular.  But many of them still taste like you are sucking on a battery.

For those of us with texture issues, onions and tomatoes are right out. Onions have a sort of wet-crunchy-squeak that makes me gag. And tomatoes are wet and squishy, but also firm and have little bits of peel that roll up into needles that suck.

In Portland it is the Arts Tax. It is a weird tax with weird rules (if you make less than $1,000 per year you don’t have to pay!), and it was put on the ballot as a way to bring art classes back to public schools.
