Oof, that album is so bad. Off hand I can only recall the opening to “Teenage Electric” and that cover.

I had the CD single of that GUTG EP with the Archers of Loaf cover on it for some reason instead of the 7". It took me a solid ten years to actually really hear Archers of Loaf after that (to repeat myself) for some reason and had to go do some internet digging to figure out why “You and Me” sounded so familiar.
It was the third to last. Anti-penultimate?
Fingers crossed for another Cure or Echo & The Bunnymen song. It’s really, really dumb but it took hearing “Siamese Twin” and “Pictures On The Wall” in the first season for me to really get into both of those bands.
A coodle doodle doo!
Apparently Portia De Rossi is just about done acting and this was all they could get her for.
I don’t know man, there’s a huge difference in the sound of The End to Drama of Exile. She more or less abandoned the harmonium to get back to a fairly standard “rock” band set up in the face of New Wave.
There’s Nico - Drama of Exile too. I didn’t know the album existed until very recently but it has some real good post-punk/new wave vibes. I think there was a story on CVLT Nation about it and I was pretty immediately drawn in.
That was the most intense shake of a few strands of hair I’ve ever seen.
This is going to fuck with the flow of call backs and foreshadowing that you know Hurwitz put in there. Either do it all at once or do a weekly release, don’t do the weird blocks that there’s no way a showrunner could have planned for.
Ignatiy, thank you for being able to write a competent review that walks up to the spoiler plot-kicker-offer but doesn’t give it all away, unlike fucking J.R. Jones of the Chicago Reader. I know I’ve complained about him before on the Infinity War review here but I really just cannot fucking stand that guy and wish I…
Title of this cancellation’s sex tape. :(
This is the opposite of Die Hard.
I very much disagree. I’m through 16 of the episodes so far and though it doesn’t completely save some of the George Sr. and Lindsey plot points, breaking them up into smaller chunks makes it way easier to digest. It’s been a few years since I watched the original one but I’m finding myself cackling out loud quite a…
God damn it, this post just put the chorus in my head and it hasn’t stopped repeating for ten minutes.
So is it animated or live action? The release on the DC website didn’t say but you guys seem to be leaning toward live action.
That trade paperback was not a good thing to grab off my ‘to-read’ pile in mid-November 2016. Ugh.
Eh, Pitchfork the last couple years has basically morphed into Rolling Stone and doesn’t dig their teeth into anything for seemingly no reason any more.
Came for a B-, left disappointed.
Bucket O’ Blood is the greatest store and I wish I lived closer to it, but in reality it’s good that I’m a decent trek away otherwise I’d blow all my extra money in there.
