Mastodon will probably get an actual review in the music section.

I think the Balaclava record is fine but it could use some editing at times; it's definitely one of those records that feels way longer than it actually is.  It's a good listen but I'm honestly more excited about the promise it shows for the future than anything on the LP itself.

Have you heard the Dead Language LP?  It's guys from Iron Lung and Walls with whats-his-name from No Comment on vocals. I didn't know about it until a week and a half ago but it's barely left my turntable since.

"Tell GOB I've got a nice hard cot for him waiting here."
"You would do that to your own brother?"
"I said 'cot.'"

It was his unmistakable delivery of "I'm gonna get you bitch" while riding on the hood of a car that got him the Bill S Preston Esq role.

"Punk cover" was another good generic artist name that I kind of miss.

Mary Steenburgen looks like she could be the mother of June Diane Raphael from NTSF:SD::SUV and who played Ron Donald's love interest in those two episodes of Party Down. That's all I could think of while watching the episode.

Where was everyone?
I know they never really have the entire cast in an episode but seriously, was Ken Marino off making a tentpole movie or something? I feel like he hasn't been seen in probably four episodes.

Mr Banana Grabber
I'm watching the episode right now (every August I go through and re-watch the whole series) and just now noticed that when Lucille goes to see Oscar at the end he's watching the "Mr. Banana Grabber" cartoon on his little TV. This is probably the tenth time I've watched through the series and the

Maybe so Fastandsloppy but we've been shown the same seven skits ad nauseam for the last 15 years as on all the self congratulatory SNL specials and best of's so don't think we don't know about his drarrings and that one time Aerosmith stopped by Wayne's World.

How dare you leave out "shagadellic."

I remember MTV airing either a 30 minute or hour long special before the release of the first movie quite a few times that I don't think ever saw the light of day afterward. Does anyone else remember it?

This is going the Seinfeld/Simspons route
And staying in coverage past the Summer months? Yes!

Still can't stand Nick Kroll
I just plain to not like that guy.

Marino hasn't been in the last two episodes if I recall correctly. Must have been filming a movie.

You literally ruined my day once with these write ups…
…in that after Netflix put the first three seasons on Instant Watch in February of 2010 I was searching for a screen cap or something (I can't recall exactly what) I came across the fact that all 50+ episodes I'd blazed through had lengthy, thoughtful reviews. I

The Coup is going to perform "Party Music" in its entirety.

Eef Barzelay of Clem Snide (plays the music of Journey)
Sounds awful.

On the Season 2 DVDs there are commentary on six episodes I want to say but they make up for it by having over two and a half hours of deleted scenes.
