Don’t worry about it, I just finished this episode last night.

I agree that Carrie-Anne Moss has made this lesser season worthwhile.

Jeri can probably legalese her way out of jail for as long as it takes ALS to kill her.

I actually thought Callum Rennie was great. In fact, one of the reasons Trish was so grating this season is that, contrasted with the ‘villains’ whose motivations were so understandable and were so well-acted, she just came across as a massively entitled dipshit. Malus was a much more sympathetic character because

Kang must admit that he was relieved when Alisa took Sunday out the window, because that actress was fucking terrible.

......No.

You’re yawning at your own pure speculation, y’know.

The best thing about Iron Fist secondary characters is that they allowed this gif to come into existence.

Seriously, that would seem to be the #1 takeaway from this season. Good god Hogarth is terrifying. And I like her!

Okay really, this calling out Iron Fist at every opportunity is just getting ridic. I don’t think anyone will be forgetting any time soon how much critics panned the series. The horse, it is dead.

Yeah, or these shows have a “pacing problem” because they release the first four fucking episodes to critics in advance so they have to hold back big things until episode four, five or six. THAT’S why they have a pacing problem.

I’d guess it was some sort of attempt at character development and showing motivations for Trish. Also giving her some sort of height to fall from when she got addicted to the inhaler. I don’t think it came off well and that phone call seemed like it should have been a lot more than a red herring and actually planning

Thanks for the support Bruce!

My best friend’s dad had an old industrial building that had been the family printing business the generation before that he used only as a place to store his crap and store and work on his cars (and my friends and my cars...man I miss that building). Because we were probably in there only maybe 30 evenings or so a

As a powerful and influential lawyer, she could just plead ignorance and claim she had no idea who Inez was, and the police would take her word over a homeless drug addict sadly. Plus Jeri bought all her stuff back, so there was no evidence her stuff was taken, and she didn’t file a police report.

Did the writer’s room on this show have a bet that they could make the character Trish the most annoying and alienating character of the series? If so, job well done.

The healing properties of the Iron Fist were not super-clearly established, but I do wonder if Danny could heal Hogarth.

That’s what I was thinking too—it makes perfect sense that Alisa would fixate on Trish. Alisa already blamed Trish for bringing danger to her doorstep with the radio show. Then in this episode, Alisa sees on TV that Trish was the last person with Karl. We’ve been shown (and told) that Alisa’s uncontrollable rage

I do NOT want to ever get on Jeri’s bad side. That was an amazing revenge play and the way she had to give up her engraved gold watch to get it, and does so with barely any hesitation? Ooof.

You’re right that Alisa and Trish’s relationship was somehow important earlier for vague reasons, but Alisa’s fixation on Trish here makes perfect, explicit sense.
