Good call. As you probably know now, that is addressed.

Gone. They’ve all gone, and we’re back.

Ahem. You win honorable mention for creative thinking.

“I especially liked the recurring visual theme of bars passing across faces to show the way characters’ trauma keeps them locked away from other people”

Highlander did that too. Duncan McLeod had to be his own grandson, at least once.

I’m sure it was. Highlander maybe didn’t have a lot of genuinely emotionally powerful moments, but that was certainly one of them.

I read that as a reference to what AV Club is named after, like an actual high school AV club.

Oh no, I see where you’re going! Like Highlander: The Series, minus the beheadings! LOL Glad you’re back, and I hope you’re all better! :)

Oh, and is there any way you could help me get permanently ungrayed? My posts are always hidden, since the Kinjapocalypse.

I mean to write a longer post about this, but I was really surprised that they didn’t mention the old “Painting of Henry VIII with a turkey/chicken leg” case of the Mandela Effect, which I thought was the most famous. I, for one, am certain I saw that painting at some point in my life.....but apparently it doesn’t

Ah sorry! I don’t twooter much. I hope you’re feeling better and get well soon! :)

Is there no Lucifer review for this week?

Well, they kinda go back and forth. They’ve both done a fair bit of accepting and rejecting each other.

Yes! My wife and I said the same. For me, she seemed like a cross beween her and Mary Lynn Elizabeth Jean Rajskoob (sp??) aka Chloe from 24.

The whole “not talking” aspect reminded me of my favorite Korean movie, Ki-duk Kim’s 3-Iron. It’s about a drifter who breaks into strangers’ homes while they are out of town, stays there, and leaves the place nicer than he found it. The thematic difference being that it’s not a statement about people being distracted

I dunno why I thought that. It would work ok in modern day language. :)

I think that wasn’t an accident, it’s more of how much shit Mulder would put up with before he finally gave in and tipped.

Having not yet seen Black Mirror, I was able to appreciate it now, and later I will enjoy a nice BM as well.

I think it just wanted to be acknowledged for its hard (blob fish) work! ;)

The one with Sheriff Luke Wilson! That’s the first thing I (or maybe anybody) saw him in! :)
