This episode reminded me of a great Korean film called 3-Iron, which is just as lacking in dialogue, for the most part, but still tells a story wonderfully. In that one it wasn’t a statement on technology or anything, so you aren’t really looking for any overt symbolism (which is also nice).

Didn’t Chloe look particularly stunning in this episode? My wife pointed it out from the thumbnail on Hulu, before we even started the episode.

Plus they have a tendency to cast “biggish” actors to be the 1st stop/perp. I was like “woah, that’s Russell Wong!” Too bad he didn’t get to kung fu anybody. I really wish somebody would put the old Vanishing Son movies up on streaming. After Jet Li and Donnie Yen roaming the earth, I’d love to see if the kung fu is…

Yeah, and that’s one more thing that clearly illustrates how weird it is that they went the direction they did with this show. Lucifer has absolutely, flat out zero use for humans. It’s super strange that he opened a club at all.

While hard & heavy, NONE of their other stuff is that....um, frantic. They were definitely doing a contrast thing there. The first half is barely music, especially when compared to their other stuff. I’m a little older than you, btw. ;)
