The ION is usually paired with the Atom due to it's ability to decode 1080p video on it's own. They're not too bad. Admittedly, I don't sleep with my headphones in much, but the couple of times that I have, it's never been a problem. They have the rubber gasket-style ear inserts on them, so they block tons of outside sound.

+1 for the s4's. They have an s4i with the mic/controls to work with iPhone and some android phones. The sound quality is AMAZING for a sub-$100 set. They're fairly isolating, so if you're looking for something to go out running with, you may want something else, as you won't hear much in the outside world.
