Yeah, that did the trick.
Yeah, that did the trick.
Strange, I'm using AdBlock Plus too. Though I'm not blocking Flash, so that could be part of it, since it's a Flash ad. Might have to turn on ABP's annoying little tabs on flash to block that one ad.
I've got the Logitech Revolution MX5500 set... absolutely love it. I've been using it for nearly 2 years, and never had a problem. The mouse is the best mouse I've ever used and wouldn't trade it for the world.
For the love of god and all that's holy, get rid of the damn Sprint pop-over Galaxy Tab ad that loads every time you hit the main page. I'll make you a deal, get rid of that damn ad, and i'll never complain about this crappy new layout again :)

If you're going to look at an electric grill, and it's a "contact grill" (i.e., foreman grill, etc.), make sure you get one with variable temperature. Otherwise you'll just turn the outside of your steak into a crusty dried out mess.
The other thing to keep in mind, you mentioned that it's a certified pre-owned vehicle. Find out what the dealer is "certifying". Usually, there is an agreement or at least a written statement of what certified means to them, and if it's in print, you can hold them to it should the car have problems that should have…
Or, "How to Burn Down Your Home, using your vehicle as an ignition source and its gas for fuel". Somehow, this idea just seems to go against all common sense, if you ask me. Sometimes DIY goes too far...
If you click through to the link for MyWi at the bottom of the post, the fourth bullet-point down in the features list is:
Yep, been using that for a while now, just disappointed in the whole design in general. It seems like they didn't really take usability into account when creating the redesign, only "prettiness".
Been there, done that. That's great for now, but what about when they apply the change globally? Then what?
Wow... this new design really sucks. The sidebar is my biggest frustration. With the new design, only headlines/titles are displayed. Gone are the little blurbs that helped me decide whether a post was worth reading, now I'm stuck clicking each headline if I'm unsure.
@kseve: Thought this was too good to be true... it is. It just redirects you to the Canadian lifehacker site. Works great, until they update the site for our neighbors to the north...
Just partition & format 2/3's of it in HFS+ with Disk Utility, partition the other 1/3 in Disk Utility with Fat32, then reformat it on your PC...
You could go fiber, but that'll cost you an arm and a leg. I'd see about following a different cable path inside both buildings to minimize the cable length, since spec on Cat5 is 328ft (100m). If you can keep the cat5 run under 328 feet end to end, it should be fine. Just toss a switch on the end in the new office.
I definitely agree. I miss having the replies being listed at the top of the page...
The best place to submit this feedback is to tips+redesign@lifehacker.com. It's nice to see some real feedback though, rather than just "It sucks!" because, as we say in my office... "We can't fix 'it sucks'."
@LTA: Think of it like the English Premiere League football championship, but in the US :)
@drongch: Unfortunately I'm not familiar with Examcram personally, but I've heard good things from co-workers.
@Sandeep Gonsalves: One thing I can tell you is that when you take a Microsoft exam like that, they expect you to do it EXACTLY as they teach it in their exam prep courses and study materials. Even if you know another way to do something, you will be marked incorrect. And they'll trick you... for multiple choice…
