I mean there’s no real indication whatsoever that Marvel is looking to recast Drax or portray a younger Drax.

Apropos of nothing, I would love Gunn and Bautista to team up on a Doc Savage movie.

Terrance Howard is still waiting on his tweet from Jon Favreau.

Yes, it is great that he’s getting enough offers that he has to pick and choose. As long as he can find time for more Guardians of the Galaxy and maybe another Bond movie, I’m cool.

I did not know about Dave Bautista’s struggles as an actor until I saw him on Bear Grylls recently and now I hope he’s one of those guys who will always “send the elevator back down” for other actors, because he seems like he would.

I read somewhere that when Bautista started getting big Hollywood roles, he took acting lessons because he didn’t want to just rely on his fame as a wrestler; he took acting seriously as its own profession. I really respect that commitment, and I think it’s paid off, on the basis of his ‘Bladerunner 2049' performance

Glasses: the PERFECT disguise.

2009. What a year to set this episode. Same one I graduated college. Now I feel pretty old and VERY under accomplished.

All I kept wondering was, “Who the hell is Kenny?”

and in Blade Runner 2049 (and the prequel short) you can see him actually act even with very little screen time.

Did Disney send some hired goons to remind him that the Mouse owns Hollywood and it would be bad for his health to join Gunn at DC?”

Sometimes I get the urge to dismiss Bautista because it reminds me of another ex-pro-wrestler turned action star but then I am always reminded of his role in Bladerunner: 2049 and remember just how amazing he was in it even if it was really short. The way he talked, or acted without saying anything was just incredible.

Why would Kara recognize Nia in the present? She met Brenda, who wore glasses, a totally distinct person. If that disguise doesn’t fool her the entire universe falls apart.

Some thoughts, before I read any other comments:

Moonlight through a window recharging a Kryptonian’s powers?! It’s reflected sunlight though so I guess if sniffing a flower can work for Frank Miller Supergirl then this could as well lol.

Count me in for Team Kenny. If the show feels determined to foist a male love interest onto Kara, he’s at least the more sensible one. (Now watch them bring him back as a meta-hating villain.)

My usual random thoughts:

All this awesome Nia and Brainy stuff is just making me even more bummed about Supergirl ending this season, not only will we lose the best lead in all the CW shows, but two of the best supporting characters.

Someone remind me again: When did drones become inexpensive and commercially available? I don’t recall it being that common in 2009 that a kid could own one like a remote-controlled helicopter, but maybe I’m just poor and forgetful.
