I like the idea of borrowing the word "peloton" from cycling.

I like to take the opposite approach; group texts are a GREAT time to be as much of a dick as possible.

I'll gladly watch my bracket suffer in exchange for a first round Duke loss. Fuck yes.

When the shit did this become a thing?! I grew up in Los Angeles and this NEVER happened. Not once. First time I ever saw it happen was in 2010 in Atlanta and since moving back to Los Angeles I've seen it happen a few more times. It's becoming a trend and it needs TO END NOW.

iOS 8 is being released later this spring?

Not sure why you're referring to it as a failure, it was successful at testing the technology it was built for. It wasn't supposed to be an easy to fly plane.

I hope so! My thoughts were just that having them in that water for less time could have some negative effect. We just don't know how long it takes for that scent to imprint on the salmon. Who knows, that imprinting could happen before they hatch.

Though it could work...that would mean we've broken the natural process completely.

It says they're being trucked to San Pablo Bay which is an extension of the San Francisco Bay and not a freshwater body of water.

Yes, they do. And it's a frightening thought that they might not be able to find that river because they were trucked to sea instead of swimming down it.

I would argue that Hollywood thinks ALL niche enthusiasts are idiots. Example: I can't think of a single surf movie that doesn't embrace every idiotic surfing cliche. But for some reason this line of thinking never applies to mainstream sports.

Still funny.

Swear to god I just finished watching The Usual Suspects. Just.fucking.now.

I don't know about bullets but I remember when this happened.

Surfers usually enjoy vehicles that can carry all their gear and they won't feel bad getting full of sand. Mercedes are really nice cars and other than that ugly ass G series don't have much space for gear. Not a great surf vehicle.

I'm guessing even more since they went to an ad agency to have it made. Meaning Mercedes was probably charged around $50k for it.

As a surfer I'd rather be sponsored by Toyota or Ford; companies that make a product I'd actually use in the course of surfing. I'm guessing there's a Mercedes in his garage at home that his wife drives, lol.

Why would anyone turn to an ad agency to design a surfboard?!!

I built a model of one of these when i was a kid and always wondered what that nozzle out back was for. Now I know!

That also wasn't a bad snow storm because the temps were high enough to melt the snow the next day.
