That book was amazing in every way.

Randomly spoke to someone on the Expo line about bike paths around LA. They live in Highland Park and were VERY excited about even the minimal expansion the lanes have received. Hopefully your councilman wises up soon.

I had a hair that grew like that for a few years. It was very dense and fingernail like. My brother has the same thing but his is a LOT bigger and he just trims it. I’m guessing it’s some genetic thing.

I now look ahead on Waze to make sure it’s not asking me to make a left turn from a side street onto a four lane main road without a light. Can’t count how many times I’ve cussed up a storm at Waze for doing that.

Method: Cold Turkey

It's true. I'll regularly break the rules of the road to protect myself. Drivers get annoyed but I make it home alive. Worthwhile trade.

My guess is they're trying to get you to search dealer inventory instead of building your dream car. This is completely backwards as it sucks for the user, but gets you looking through available inventory instead of building a vehicle that no dealer carries.

This dealer is located blocks from USC. They might know their market better than we think they do.

That would require a plumbing connection to a municipal water supply. In many rural areas this doesn't exist and instead people rely on wells.

If I had the money Seinfeld has and someone was that careless about the damage they'd just caused to one of the things I'm most passionate about I think I'd probably go the same route. Why go through the frustration of dealing with them any longer when you can simply write a check and have it fixed?

Anybody have experience purchasing ex-military aircraft? Just curious about whether this type of company is typical when it comes to sellers of military aircraft. Seems to be a small office in one of Los Angeles's quiet, upscale beach neighborhoods miles from an airport.

Can we expect that this might be a crate engine at some point?

all the fingerprints.

BUT IT'S MY MONEY AND I EARNED IT AND NOBODY CONTRIBUTED AND I WANNA USE IT FOR STRIPPERS GODDAMMIT.

I just picked up a 1960 Parkwood Station Wagon (Impala wagon). It's an insanely huge beast made of thick thick steel. It weighs less than all of these, lol.

Each year two of my friends and I had a competition; for each of the threes birthdays, the other two would buy that person the absolute worst movie they could find and at the end of the year we'd sit down, get drunk, and watch all of them then vote a "winner". This was the only movie we explicitly banned from this

Rally everything. I knew a guy who rallied an NSX. Pure awesome.

Hey look at that. Also happens to be the reason I can't sell my F*(&ing 2012 Golf R.

Whoa, these things have bottomed out in price!!

Not sure if I agree with Damasconian or not, but this graph shows that variation from average speed leads to higher collision rates. Not that lower speed limits lead to higher collision rates.
