goodbye flappy bird 2.o

Ever expanding game in all the ways except you know, the ones we promised when we sold it to you.

No one should be as insane as Eiichiro Oda. Dude recently apologized for taking a month off to deal with an astigmatism. It’s like dude it’s okay you can take off all the time you need your health is more important than One Piece.

I totally get where they would be coming from. Just writing that much that fast would be a huge pain in the ass, and to have to draw everything as well seems like a recipe for burn out. It just makes more sense to have a team to break up and distribute the labor.

Yeah the truly insane work lives of manga artists is really wild.

The weekly japanese manga industry is insane. I remember when Stan Lee was writing Ultimo and they had an interview in american shounen jump where he was pretty flabbergasted at the amount of content being pushed out on a weekly basis compared to the american comic industry where it was 1 chapter a month.

If they won’t keep them available to stream and won’t put out physical copies for purchase, creating your own de facto preservation society seems to simply be the right thing to do. For history’s sake, if nothing else. :)

Read the article. the keys got locked in broh. Likely it was an honest mistake.

This was not a case of caretakers forgetting a baby in a hot car. From the article:

And studios complained when people resorted to um, “alternative” means to obtain their media.

Didn’t read the article, did you? Sounds like it was an accident on the parents’ behalf.

Enjoy that streaming show but concerned it might disappear? Build your own back-ups.

Really.  A side window that moves is generally the cheapest and easiest to replace.

WTF, why didn’t they just break the driver (or passenger) window and open the door instead of bashing the front windshield and handing the baby through the broken glass??

Still better than an NFT.

I’m so sorry your joke went over everyone’s head.

I mean, or they can just sell rechargeable, replaceable batteries. It’s about being able to open the battery port yourself, not about the kind of battery.

Yeah, that would suck! If only there was some way to reuse AA and AAA batteries. Make them, I dunno, rechargeable? Nah, that’s a crazy idea, but maybe one day we’ll have such a futuristic technology.

I never understood why people shit on Xbox controllers for using batteries. I love having more options for how I can power my controllers (USB cable, rechargeable batteries [I use Eneloops and Amazon Basics], disposable batteries [which I don’t use, but they are an option], and battery packs).
