Death and failure is something this game (and these types of games) teach you to accept very early on. These are the only games that make it OK to die and fail. I know that with enough time, I will indeed “git gud”. The beginning section and hours in this game are a little frustrating and the vagueness can make it

So I’ll admit, pre-release I was skeptical about whether Elden Ring would work because in my experience just because it’s open world doesn’t mean it’s better.

And I bounced off of Sekiero rather hard after adoring Bloodborne, and seeing what crazy graphical fidelity can do via a 3rd studio with Demon Souls Remake by

Definitely read the item descriptions of pretty much everything you find and talk to people until they start repeating themselves. Also if you’re still in the early part of the game head south, there’s a whole lot down there that’s about at your level.

So after a month of giving this game shit, I fucking caved and bought it and god damn. Its fun

In my opinion, this is the best RPG I’ve played, maybe since Morrowind? It’s one of the most “complete” games to come out in a very very long time. Just the sheer scale of everything and how exploring is a reward within itself brings back morrowind vibes. I have a Mage character and a Assassin type character, and both

Everything you’ve listed here is completely optional to the player.  Get stuck on a boss? Summon help.  Melee too tough? Used ranged bows or spells.  Care about the Lore? Read item descriptions or look it up online.  I don’t see how any of this is bad.

I explained to my dad the other day about the whole “add an easy mode argument”. He just said, “There is an easy fix for that. Just don’t play the game then. I could have given up on Metroid but I didn’t and I still remember beating it to this day.” That right there coming from a non gamer is the whole point. Also I

Now playing

FUCK all these current gen games, the TMNT collection looks AMAZING! Day one for sure

Not even on the back of your wireless router?

I don’t see that happening at all. The Series X/S has sold almost the same number of units as the PS5 in North America. It’s one of their most successful systems to date. I don’t see them moving everything to XCloud in lieu of new hardware any time soon. I wouldn’t rule out XCloud becoming the new “casual tier” and

Just to be clear, claims of “monopoly” were in reference to a monopoly in the United States, a claim that is less concerned by “who has access to well-known Japanese developers” and more about “what percentage of the total market is controlled by a single entity.”

Right?! And this whining about a lame exotic armor piece that at least suggests an entirely different way to play the class? Trying to think of the last warlock exotic armor piece that was even half as interesting. I've been swapping between the same 3 exotic armor pieces for years now as a warlock because the rest

Do Void Hunters think Radiant Well Warlocks enjoy their lot in life? Do they think Bubble Titans find plopping a bubble down for DPS the peak of excitement? Because they’ve complained for the last few years about “not being useful in high difficulty content. Now Bungie triples down on Invisibility, allowing them for

Isn’t this pretty much the same thing that happened with The Witcher 3? I got it years after launch, but I heard is was a mess that eventually got fixed up into the game that people rave about today.

Forever his name shall be tarnished

I want more Myth: The Fallen Lords, myself.

Didn’t Bungie split with Activision partly because Activision wanted them to create new Destiny titles instead of releasing new content as expansions

Sony is in need of a devloper that can do games as a live serivice and Bungie is king of that currently. On top of that they have a new IP that is coming that Sony must have really liked.

In theory they could act as a bargaining chip - You take the C0D, we take the Destiny - but given that these deals are in the work months in advance it’s not like you can just revenge buy something.
