I 100% guarantee that every single person who starred this post buys a full priced game with microtransactions within the next 12 months. Probably within the next three in most cases.

While Rocksteady earned a good pedigree with their Arkham titles, this just appeals less and less to me the more we see of it.  Even if it wasn’t clearly a live service game, a Suicide Squad looter shooter isn’t something that gets on my radar.  Instead of grilling RS to say this is a live service game, they need to

What is the ratio of first peaches of summer to Schrute Bucks?

I just checked a different analyst and he said it could cost 500 dollars and the games could each cost the first peach of summer.

E3 was only irrelevant as a platform to host trailers/advertisements that could be uploaded to Youtube. It was still very relevant as a way for industry professionals to meet, collaborate, make deals, network etc etc.

I’m a broken record on this topic but the thing people need to realize is that E3 wasn’t *primarily* a platform to spoonfeed advertisements and trailers, it was a trade show. Industry professionals were there, deals were made, networking was done, meetings were held. E3 was very important for the industry. Sure, The

Destiny 2 is six years old. Most people have moved on to something else. Make a new IP or Destiny 3 at this point.

I found the game kind of meh. It had some interesting aspects that were mostly counterbalanced by boring and/or tedious elements. I get the “mixed” status on steam because that is right where I’d put it. I gave up about 25 hours in cause it just wasn’t holding my attention.

this is somewhat reductive. AI tools have already radically transformed the workflows of multiple industries. it’s not a pipe dream. it’s here to stay, because it’s useful for productivity.

Thanks WB, for again making it clear, for me not to purchase the game.

There are plenty of truly great games that lack a complex story. Most Mario games, for example.

that isnt a problem with the game, sounds like sandbox games just arent your thing. not every game will please 100% of the people who play them. but saying a game is bad because you got bored at some point isnt kosher.

I mean technically I doubt there’s anything disallowing an indie game from being GotY but realistically yeah it’s never going to happen. Imagine the uproar from out-of-touch fanboys if a pixel game or 5-hour puzzle game won GotY. The VGA doesn’t want that.

I have no idea what you are talking about the game uses mostly the same map and graphics but it plays completely differently. The building elements of the game may not have been your cup of tea but are some robust and complicated that the game is sort of a masterclass in design.

Dont know about MW3. But I tried the online free battle royale (warzone) that came with MW2 and after downloading a lot of crap, the game finally loaded, started, and I died in 15 seconds. Went through some jail sequence, died again. Then it took like 10 minutes to try again. And I lasted maybe 20 seconds. Once I got

Now Bloomberg reports that the game was rushed out in half the time of a normal Call of Duty sequel, with devs working nights and weekends to meet Activision’s annualized sales goals.”

We “factually” recieved the game the same time as everyone else, which was only a few days before launch. We just don’t let arbitrary embargos dictate coverage when it doesn’t make sense.

Perhaps you missed this interview with co-director and writer Sam Lake right before the game came out. https://kotaku.com/alan-wake-

Remedy might be the Bureau of Control, and this game might be an OOP.

You certainly managed to draw a lot of conclusions about games that are 100+ hours long without actually playing them, based entirely on very small amounts of information. Clearly, we have found our new authority on the subject.

I’ve been waiting for a PS5 version to replay it. I absolutely loved it on PS4, but I didn’t have an HDR or 4K TV at the time, so I would love to re-experience it on PS5 with upgraded visuals. I know they patched it to be 60fps on PS5, but I just know they’re going to release a new version eventually.
