I will be curious to hear what happens to the left over stock. Fisker took over an old BMW Dealership near my house (that used to be a circuit city for those wanting a chuckle from the past). Last month they had about 20-30 cars on the lot. I drove by a few days ago and there are only like 4 visible from the freeway -

Call me crazy, but a single person should not have enough money to purchase that many Veyrons

They could be worth negative money.  It’s kind of unclear who the burden of recycling a car falls on.  I don’t think the OEM’s are going to go back and scoop up there old cars once the batteries become unusable.  It is vastly more expensive to recoup the raw materials from a battery than it is to simply mine more at

Then the company revealed that it loses over six figures on each EV it sales.

You can use the same plating method to plate plastic. It doesn’t have to be metal.

What modern cars actually use real chrome these days? I always thought any modern car with “chrome” trim is just shiny plastic.

That’s fine, I use Firefox anyway.

Nissan showed the concept back in 22.

Yeah, same. It's not a NP for me, but absolutely is the kind of car my girlfriend would love and is looking for now. If the ad wasn't gone already I'd have sent it to her. That's a lot of comfy crusier for the money which makes it perfect for her.

Well yeah, but it’s still a modern sports car with three pedals.  That’s something to be happy about in 2024.

I really like it. And given my poor Miata was demolished by a tow truck last month, I’m in the market.

As a Z fan and owner, I’m going to have to completely disagree with your take here. I hate the mega mouth look and think the heritage split grille is an absolutely massive improvement. Being able to choose this grille is a fantastic option.

Figure $75 k out the door in 2007, comes to $120 k now. Just about the MSRP and the performance/ride/comforts are up substantially.

and kept trying to rake raking in money on a dated platform”

I want one ... like a lot. But unlike a lot of cool fast imports these dont seem to lose much value... ever

agree, PTS white feels like “give me a vanity plate but make it a random alphanumeric combination”

Must resist urge to rant about lotteries.

$2 billion jackpot.

$344,000 in options”

“Basically, a lot of buyers felt that when they were off-roading their Acadia, they’d like to be a bit more visible, and that’s where the corner lights come in.”
