Don’t forget that are roads are utter and complete shit. Making this an even more dangerous activity.

1980's Chrysler walks into the room.

i test drove a pacifica and liked everything but the shiny cheap dash plastics. It looked horrible.

*sort of like if the mid-00s Altima was an entire model lineup*

Maybe it’s just me, but I’d take the opinion of a guy who owns a car over the opinion of a guy who doesn’t.

lmao, of course you defend a car you own.

Not sure what powertrain improvement you’re seeing. That’s the stock, 76hp turbocharged engine. This is the only widebody Figaro I can find online which has not been engine modded. So-....it’s one of a kind!!!

I have a friend who moved to Arizona years ago when she retired.  She was fine with the heat - until now.

Exactly. It’s the same argument that makes Northerners dumb for criticizing the South with a little snow. They don’t have the mass equipment to clear it and people in the South aren’t used to driving in it.  Can’t we all just agree to say, “DAMN!” while shaking our heads?

I served in the US Army as a scout, stationed in El Paso where the temps routinely go north of 100F. One time when I got on the plane to go home on leave it was 102F in El Paso. Got off the plane in Minneapolis it was in the mid 80s. Somehow that mid 80s felt hotter. The heat hit me like a ton of bricks. The humidity

Also came here to mention this game, also played it at a young age and had dreams of working in car design and hey, now I do! Even at that age though I do remember being a bit frustrated with how limited the customisation seemed to be, with it amounting to sliders between two preset designs for each part of the car

Also the Land of 10,000 Sources of Moisture, it can be a heavy heat too.

This is the “freedom” that car-dependency provides.

Now playing

You could do that to an extent in Supercar Street Challenge. I rented it once and don’t remember anything else about it other than the create-a-car mode and the Saleen branding everywhere.

Well ain’t you pissy. Just point to where that bad ol’ Mustang hurt you ...

More like missing the point since the Mustang in the article isn’t for Supercars but for its own one-make series in IMSA.

I never really understood the overlap between the Sequoia and the LC. I’m sure there are people who know more of the differences in the chassis, but the 100 and 200 series shared the same engine and transmission in the US market as the Sequoia, heck the 200 series didn’t even offer a rear locker as far as I know. I

Gotcha. Yeah the main thing I wish my GX had was the range of the diesel. The 2UZ is a wonderful engine...paired to an hilariously small fuel tank that makes the range the absolute worst.

To be honest I think that IS part of the draw for Toyota in the first place especially their trucks. Like they haven’t tried to go full force luxury with something like the Tacoma, it’s just still a truck that does truck stuff no more no less. Not unlike people who buy a Jeep Wrangler, you are buying it for what it is

My god it’s beautiful
