I’m just thinking about my own desires/needs. I plan to build a track car after I pay off the current daily driver. It has to be street legal because I don’t want to deal with tow vehicles, trailers etc. That will limit mods to some degree but you can still make a potent track car that doesn’t rattle your teeth out on

Nice price even if it didn’t have the conversion. Frankly incredible price as it currently sits.

Everytime I see the new Civic and it’s not ugly I’m happy.
I’m not used to have a not-ugly-civic, it hasn’t been the case in 20 years. This is so cool.

Then, when your wallet recovers a bit, you can start to throw more horsepower, aero, etc at it to make it faster.

If you have the cash up front to get a car like this, it’s a great way to circumvent the messy process of getting a track car together . All the work is professionally done, which means it’s gone through some testing and development that you don’t have to deal with immediately, if you built your own ride.  Then, when

I’ve never driven a non-allowable vehicle on public roads before, but I have driven a car and a truck that were at best questionably roadworthy. Planning your route so that you are never in a place where you can’t quickly and safely pull over and restart your car is pretty Jalop IMHO.

I think you’d have to be incredibly uncharitable to really think there was any malice in any of this and to push any of this beyond the removal and apology. The “sorry we got caught” ones are usually pretty obvious, and this doesn’t seem like that.

Not sure I see a need to make this a bigger deal than it has already become. They put out a bad joke, got called out, then made what seems like a honest and open apology that appears sincere.

come on man, be cool

For some reason I can’t reply to the actual post....

Paying tax on money you haven’t received is a horrible idea and if you think they wont use this as an excuse to raid the middle class you are clueless.

Heated seats are a godsend when it is -10 outside, and that is without the wind chill factor.

That’s going to be an unpopular opinion. I had a Lexus with a heated steering wheel for 4 years and my spouse asks if every other vehicle we consider acquiring has that feature.  Any vehicle without heated seats wouldn’t be considered.

As someone who lives in a cold state, I wholeheartedly disagree with you on heated seats. I would never willingly buy a car without one at this point.

Power lift gates.

In my ‘15 Durango, I’d say the least used function are the paddle shifters.  I’ve used them in the mountains to better maintain cruising speeds, but for the majority of my driving in the Midwest they’re pointless.

I feel your pain. I had a 3800 V6 do the same to me about 200 miles from my destination while driving through North Carolina :(

You want to read some further daggers? Tsunoda, who is currently 14th in the standings, is the lowest paid driver in F1 making half a million US driving the AlphaTauri (there thankfully are no longer any ‘pay’ drivers.). Everyone below him sans Kimi who brings in a nice payday makes at least a million US. Tsunoda will

I was at Lucid store a couple of weeks ago (they were at the mall I was at and my wife’s company handled their CFO search.) It is really nice looking in person.
