Any of the "purists" out there that bash these kind of stipulations are just ignorant. Real baseball, played by anybody outside of the professional leagues doesn't have commercials. Commercials are interrupt and delay the game, and the integrity of whatever bygone era bullshit everybody clings to in these situations

Baseball won't be a thing in 15-20 years, anyways. We all just assume professional sports will be the status quo for generations to come... but baseball will not survive. It's an outdated sport/relic from past generations, and the youth just simply don't give a shit (unless their dads drag them to games). Kids don't

Birdman was the most pretentious of the nominees, but it also throws the role of critics under the bus. It'll put all the pretentious critics that decide these things in a real dilemma.

I really hope that the voters don't go by the same logic as Grierson & Leitch.

You do that a couple of times and that's it; that's the entirety of the monster-fighting in The Order: 1886. [Spoiler!] The one exception is a semi-interactive boss-battle against a werewolf near the start of the game, which is then repeated as the final boss battle. Yep, you heard right: The game's final boss is a

Appreciate all the insight... but was Twitter really the best medium for sharing all of this?

The Maple Leafs would be the last team I'd every want to play for. And I'm from Toronto... and a fan of the team.

It's a fact that the US would have never become quite the same world power without slavery.

Publishers need to cut this shit out, especially Ubisoft. Maybe if they allocated the resources for creating these apps into testing/development they would have launched a game that worked.

People are terrible. This doesn't imply that Chelsea or football supporters are in the wrong specifically... it's just a commentary on people in general. The whole social media/internet era showcases this on a daily basis.

In an age when a metacritic score can make or break a game (and impact job security), every bit of extra development time is precious to avoid the barrage of nitpicking from media outlets like this one. I'm not advocating releasing broken games, but if the extra 6 weeks of development can make the game better than I

Sensational headline is sensational. The majority of the patches above were just adding more features and functionality to already quality products. It's one thing if a game is broken, but if the update improves the game then I'm pretty sure we can all handle a day one patch.

I'll be honest and admit I never played the game. The majority of reviews said the game clocked in at 20 or so hours, which they all seemed to be unanimous in agreeing was far too long. It's on my list

I don't want to encourage developers to churn out bloated games like Alien: Isolation (which should have 8-10 in length at best)... but I just can't justify spending $60 here.

I might be in the clear minority, but I really enjoyed ACU. I can't comment on the launch version, but having playing it this month post all the big patches I was very pleasantly surprised. There were frame-rate drops, and the audio cut-out at times, but nothing game-breaking. Sure, it wasn't as expansive as Black

Vice City is such a distinct style/era. Other than being in the same fake city, GTAV and San Andreas didn't really felt like two distinctly separate games (as much as GTA3 and IV did).

Having played it for the first time a year ago on the PS3 HD remaster.... it has not aged well. I respected the scale of the bosses, but world was pretty bland the controls were just horrific.

I hope not... nostalgia is great and all but let's get something fresh and new. We've all played Vice City.
