It did - they actually recently demod some new damage tech that will help trim down the size of the ship assets, plus it looks pretty badass
Cloud streaming will be necessary to handle all of the 'big' universe data, things like NPC actions, economic simulation, stuff that would crush our measly home PCs.
They will probably be able to ship a number of the Squadron 42 single player missions on USB, the Persistent Universe is going to be a whole other beast.
