Oof. Had a friend who had spent some time in an institution due to mental health issues. He killed himself with a gun he bought after getting out. Our gun control laws suck in this country (granted that was over a decade ago at this point.)

The line on the 4473 specifically says: “Have you been adjudicated mentally deficient.” Unless you’ve landed in front of a judge for a mental health related reason, a background check won’t catch it.
You’re kind of acting like mental health issues are inherent and permanent.
And for good reason, the SVO was as fast as a GT but had much better handling, especially on track. I don’t think it was enough to justify the price, and consumers agreed.
The SVO also cost MORE than a GT.
And unfortunately the line separating the rednecks from the conservatives is practically non-existent at this point. At the very least most conservatives aren’t overly bothered by it.
Already spent all that bail money on the vacation!
Something tells me this is an “If I can’t enjoy myself, NOBODY gets to enjoy themselves” kind of dad.
As if anything Hunter Biden has done is worse than what Invaka, Eric, and DJ have done.
Writing a line like that is just generally a safe bet. “Rednecks attempt to overthrow democracy” is just kinda what they’ve been salivating over since the Civil War. We didn’t really NEED an actual event where Conservative politicians plotted to help fascist insurgents attempt to Order 66 one side of the aisle. Saying…
On the plus side, the rest of the family went on to enjoy a four-day overbearing-Dad-less vacation of a lifetime!
This. You only see them on reefer trailers, not regular ones. Regular trailers always have painted solid doors (or occasionally the roll-up style)
“Covid is a very serious thing,” Sills said to the Post, “but so is my vacation with my family.”
Disney people can truly represent the worst our society has to offer.
The article sums it up pretty well. X-Wing came out of nowhere and was mindblowing, but not perfect. Then Tie Fighter came and refined everything that needed refining in the first game (mainly things that gave you a feeling of unfairness/frustration). That, and the awesome Empire-centric story.
You know, I tried to play X-wing after this game. But it wasn't nearly as fun.
The bigger thing about TIE Fighter is that it showed you The Empire. Not the empire, not the cackling mad power-hungry evil dudes, but a bureaucracy in motion, that... does what it does because it has to keep the universe spinning.
Yes.
Tie Defenders were one of the best parts of Tie Fighter
TIE Fighter's missions have some of the best pacing in any game.
