Only 91 Octane? Pleb.
I had essentially zero experience with the Total War franchise, and pretty limited knowledge of the Warhammer Fantasy universe, and this game got me pretty solidly addicted to both. You won’t get too much of the setting lore from the game, but it’s not hard to find if you want to read more into it.
I can only assume that this is what prompted the couple of F-16s to takeoff and floor it over 495 a little before 9am this morning!
Horus does not approve!
I’d definitely spend money on a hardcover copy; e-books just don’t do it for me. Signed hardcover copies would be even better!
Your 3000GT is absolutely gorgeous! Somehow, despite reading Jalopnik since 2007, I managed to miss all of the previous posts about it! Any chance you have a higher resolution copy of that photo? I need a new desktop background and/or Facebook cover photo!
Ha, totally misread your initial statement!
Yeah, no idea what is going on there, with regards to the yellow lines. The camera car is clearly in the wrong lane on this side of the intersection, although it appears that the lane has a double yellow on both sides of it, once you cross the intersection; no idea what…
The light on the right-hand side of the light is the green one, which is illuminated in the video. Traffic is stopped because of a backup, not because they do not have the red light. The cyclist likely assumed that she had the light, due to the stopped traffic, and neglected to pay adequate attention to what was…
Because she was crossing against the light and not paying any attention to traffic.
Pontiac Fiero x a million. They had the potential to be decent, or even good, cars towards the end, but they were forever ham-stringed by the lack of decent engines in them. Apparently, GM toyed with the idea of putting a 3800 V6 in them, but it never happened. I'm pretty sure that GM avoided dropping a better engine…
As do all the vehicles sold by Volvo Trucks. Methinks horsepower cannot be used as the sole measurement of performance chops!
Snapped a few pictures of this exact car a few months back at the first Hunt Valley Cars and Coffee of the year. Sharp Z.
So was the 3rd gen Acura Vigor and the Chrysler LH cars, but these are mechanical oddities. After going through the effort of cramming a 4.6l, DOHC V8 in a Focus, I doubt that anyone would go through the additional hassle of making it longitudinal FWD.
RWD (the engine is facing the wrong way to be FWD, FYI) with the suspension from an 03/04 Cobra.
I love that he is wearing a McLaren shirt in an ad for his Ferrari. Could this be a hint as to what will be replacing the 458?
Seconded on the leader-board suggestion. I think it would make it a lot easier for people to understand that the scores look harsher than they actually are. Plus, it's nice to be able to quickly compare cars!
I don't know about the 2014, but the turbos on the previous generation Cooper S were some of the smallest I have ever seen.
I have to agree; a buddy of mine had an '84 a few years ago - women wanted to be with him and men wanted to be him.
We used to put on fake mustaches and cop sunglasses, and drive around blasting that German techno song from Super Troopers for laughs. I still miss that damn thing!
Thanks! I really lucked out when I bought it at 45k a year ago; I paid less than 10k for a pretty pristine, loaded, GT that had been honest to god driven by an older gentleman as a weekend "fun car". With the amount I saved over buying a new BRZ/FR-S, I have a similar car and a big budget for mods/fuel costs.
