RWD (the engine is facing the wrong way to be FWD, FYI) with the suspension from an 03/04 Cobra.

I love that he is wearing a McLaren shirt in an ad for his Ferrari. Could this be a hint as to what will be replacing the 458?

I'm in full support of the inclusion of I, Jedi; it is an awesome novel that did a great job of further fleshing out Corran Horn. I can honestly say I've read it a good dozen times.

Seconded on the leader-board suggestion. I think it would make it a lot easier for people to understand that the scores look harsher than they actually are. Plus, it's nice to be able to quickly compare cars!

I don't know about the 2014, but the turbos on the previous generation Cooper S were some of the smallest I have ever seen.

I have to agree; a buddy of mine had an '84 a few years ago - women wanted to be with him and men wanted to be him.

We used to put on fake mustaches and cop sunglasses, and drive around blasting that German techno song from Super Troopers for laughs. I still miss that damn thing!

Thanks! I really lucked out when I bought it at 45k a year ago; I paid less than 10k for a pretty pristine, loaded, GT that had been honest to god driven by an older gentleman as a weekend "fun car". With the amount I saved over buying a new BRZ/FR-S, I have a similar car and a big budget for mods/fuel costs.

I'm at about 65k miles on my '04, and I haven't really had too many issues. The car burned through 2 catalytic converters before 50k miles (at which point I went catless), which was annoying as hell (and is apparently really common), but otherwise, it's been more or less worry free. As everyone that owns one says,

I've had an '04 for a little over a year now, and I swapped in the 4.778:1 rear differential from a series II a few months after buying it. While it murdered my fuel economy, the increase in torque multiplication made a pretty noticeable difference in acceleration. From what I've read, that's about the only thing

There was an LS4, but no one remembers it because it was designed for transverse mounted applications that no body cared about. It was a 300hp 5.3L found in the top trim level W-bodies.

A lot of the hipsters I know drive either Jetta's or older Subaru wagons. All of them ride fixies.

"The dual-clutch is probably the transmission I'd pick..."

Ahem...

The 6.2L has higher peak numbers, but I think it could be argued that the 3.5L Ecoboost has a much stronger power-curve.

Porsche 911. Everyone can identify it, and they all know it is something desirable.

I'm obviously biased as an RX-8 owner, but I'd argue that rotary engines are pretty easy to distinguish, especially once they have had some exhaust work done to open them up.
