Volvo is like any car and it all depends on how it was maintained by previous owner. I bought mine for cheap cheap because it had a blown motor. I didn’t want to spend much because I had no prior experience with Volvos and this was a good way to get into them. I put an engine into it, couple of tie rods, had to fix…

After fixing all the issues that are expected with a 15 year old car with 165000 miles I haven’t had any problems.

I have since bought 2 other Volvos...in the process of swapping 5 speed into this one and loving the extra room. I do miss my V8 sedan some times but so far I was able to do everything with the Volvo as I could with the sedan. It fits more cargo, tows almost as much and is just as fast.

I never thought that I would one day own a Volvo let alone a station wagon.
