Yeah... there’s a 2017 Miata Club with the Brembo/BBS option with 35,000 miles near me for sale and it’s $22.5k. I’d way rather that. 

My dad has a manual 4 banger 2 series (it’s about as mint as mint gets). It’s not a bad car, but a Miata it most certainly is not. I’d rather have the Miata.

Or, you can buy a used Miata, and end up with an even cheaper car that will be far more reliable than an out-of-warranty BMW!

When I’m paying for Kandi, I expect a much cheaper stripper model.

I’ve been looking where to lump in my 2cents. I want to echo what you said was stated by my “car loving” friend group. It’s not impressive, it’s too expensive, this isn’t fun or interesting.

The GTI had a nice interior. Now at Mk. 8 it’s a plastic, capacitive-ridden apocalypse with a barely functioning software suite and a distinct lack of the humanity in the cabin that was present through the Mk. 7.
