Agreed. I started going to NYC right before the great clean-up started. I miss some of the old stuff.

Hardees does a very solid breakfast with no muffins.

Now I have to go watch Rushmore while having a grilled cheese. Dammit! Quit reminding me of random stuff. At least it got Marty Robbins out of my head.

Now playing

Thank you so much for putting this in my head for the next couple of hours:

My mom does this with artificial sweetener but she has a hierarchy. If there is stevia that get’s used in her coffee and all of the rest at the table goes in the purse. In the absence of stevia, Splenda is used the same way but not all of the available packets are purloined. Nutrasweet is used when the previous are

I keep wondering when KFC is just going to get down to the point and just sell fried chicken skin and mashed potatoes.

Since I don’t live with my Mom anymore, I love that I can make that choice as an adult.

Normally they just did pigs, sheep and cows but once a year (for a Muslim event, I think)

I took part in a fresh fruit/artificial flavor comparison in college and nothing tastes like the real thing except maybe orange.

Japanese Sage Derby?

Change the horse to a cow and welcome to a regular sight in Wisconsin.

I think cream cheese was an inspired utilitarian pick. One of my Grandfathers favorite snacks was cream cheese on a saltine with a dab of good grape jelly. It is surprisingly good.

Venezuelan Beaver Cheese perhaps?
