Helllllllll no. I was 7 years old in 1984. The movie came out and just dominated our summer, and the next few years. It was the one that my dad liked just as much as I did — I didn’t get all the jokes but I still laughed at them.

How about in a way that’s funny? Or if you can’t do that, then just not at all? He’s been ex-President for going on a full year now and the bits are not premised on anything newsworthy he’s done.

I don’t get why SNL is insisting on this loving homage to Trump. He lost the election, deplatformed everywhere but if you’re a MAGA who needs a hit you can just flip on SNL.

I’ll tell you, I worked with a guy named Yu one summer. We were interns and he was a one of the coordinators of our work.

God this was terrible.

The movie is plodding and terrible. The review is much kinder than it needs to be.
