Yeah. That's a big fail on this review, times two for getting motivations wrong in the review and the quote itself wrong in the stray observations.

As they were digging graves (for the Termites?) at the end of the ep, Rick said "I never asked how it was for you. Getting to Terminus." Tyreese whispered in response: "It killed me." Rick paused a while, then replied "No, it didn't."

If there really is a continuing story line there about Tyreese that's informed by him not killing Martin (and I think there probably is), it's doesn't matter that the other characters, don't know - just that the audience does. This is about an internal struggle for the character, it doesn't need an external driver.

Got ham?

Terminus feels like a separate thing. My thought was he was aligned with the white-cross-car people.

Nowadays, that would be a trilogy.

Nah, I like this idea. I'm going with Aang having fathered _everyone*_ who just got airbending. I mean, Aang really got around (on Appa), you know?

Don't forget her rousting Gordon from his pity party on the couch. That was my favorite scene this episode.

Me too!

After getting me really into it over the last few eps, this finale was a major letdown.

My theory: Donna's boss's aborted confession wasn't about his love for her, but about a professional betrayal. She has spilled a lot of details about the Giant to him, and he's gone and done something with it. I mean, wasn't he the one to get the misdirected fax of the case specs, and wasn't he really animated about

100% agree with you, Carlos. "Wonder and beauty" in spades so far in S3.

Interesting idea, although it definitely does sound like an urban legend. But treating it seriously: As a boy in the target demo when it originally aired, I took the third way — I watched every episode, but never really liked the show or any of the characters. I did love the opening theme, though.

You've misread me. That post was specifically questioning whether _other people_ in-universe would've known that Zaheer was so well-versed in the Air Nomad culture. If it's something he had just gone off and studied by himself, then I think not.

Does Tenzin know that Zaheer was steeped in Air Bender culture? Did anyone? Was it a critical piece of information when he was some bad guy on the loose? To my recollection, we've seen nothing to suggest it was.

Okay, I rewatched. The scene suggested to me that she hadn't recognized him by the time she sent Ikki to bed. Felt like she knew she ought to recognize him from somewhere, but couldn't quite put her finger on it. (And he realized that she was nearly on to him.)

Look, I agree with you.

Was it known before Zaheer recently got Air Bending that he had previously studied it? (Do we even know that to be true?)

But why did Kya know Zaheer had studied Air Bending?
