Huh? I said nothing about this one episode. She's always been unlikable. This episode was just her reacting the same way as she did in season one to Tenzin and Pema and (for whatever reason) to Korra. The stakes are higher here, though, because this is actual blood family and not just a long-since-ex-boyfriend.

I disagree. My impression was Tenzin/Lin were growing apart (or had grown apart), Pema came along looking for more traditional roles, and that's what Tenzin wanted and felt he needed (feeling it his duty to repopulate air nation).

Does P'Lii look and sound like Azula to anyone else? Maybe her daughter?

Something Kya said when she realized it was Zaheer reinforced that idea for me. I forget exactly what it was, though.

I guess I've never really understood why Lin is so beloved. She was the cranky and suckered police chief last season. She started season 1 cranky and seemingly jealous of Korra. She's a badass warrior and great to have on your team in a fight, but unlikeable otherwise.

Good point. Maybe they have a plan to not just kill Korra but to end the Avatar cycle? In ATLA, it was established that if Aang was killed in the Avatar state, he wouldn't be reincarnated.

So I just finished a rewatch of ATLA (spurred from the depths of my Korra-annoyance, mid season 2), and clicked on a few of these reviews as I was going through it. I have to say, La Pipe, hearing how your kids responded to eps was always a special treat. Probably because on my first watch I was often wondering what

Probably a typo, but awesome.

Just saw the movie. My comment was "a corpse they just dragged out of the ocean". Yours is better.

I want to see a whole show where Jay Pharaoh is hosting in character as Chris Tucker.

Also, one of the Terminus guys (either Gareth or the now-dead guide) responded to a question of why they take people in with something like "More people inside our group makes us stronger". That's a bad paraphrase by me, but it was something that reads on the surface as "The larger the number of people we trust, the

I'm sad I already didn't enjoy the baby boss sketch that much. Because I was absolutely amazed by it the first time - so much so that I rewound and watched it again, which I don't think I've done before. I think it's on me for not liking it this time. Bennett was still great.

I'm watching the monologue, and it's awesome how much the band is laughing behind Louis in the background.

I was going to make this joke with Glenn saying "This tastes really familiar", plus some crack about Maggie finally remembering she had a sister. Couldn't figure out how to pull it off, though.

And the whole thing with Abraham's crew meeting them at the _far_ end of the tunnel underscored something that's really been bothering me. Why did none of our little groups go looking for cars so they could _drive_ themselves to Terminus? No, everyone decides to do it on foot, humping all their gear through the

But only one half of the rabbit fell out of the bag, right? So Daryl did do something with his half, right? I'm not clear how Joe's gang (and we the audience) were supposed to know that the half that fell out _wasn't_ Daryl's, but whatever.

Yes, but you had read the book. The characters haven't.

Freakiest thing in the episode.

I didn't care about their marriage, but I disagree with the reviewer. Too often it felt like _all_ the stakes were in their marriage. This series has a great opportunity to re-examine early 80's America through the eyes of the "enemy", giving brand new perspective to the events we experienced through our own media and
