Have they not figured out the effects of the new location on traffic yet? This seems like a continuation of the (logical) concerns raised since the project was planned, but the team is playing in new park, so don’t we know at least some of the effects by now?

Definitely seems to be school by school. I got the feeling that profs got very tired of arguing about it vs just teaching people, so they banned graphing calculators, attempted to standardize what students used, and let the profs work from there. Seemed to save a lot of arguments.

No modern engine has a ‘simple mechanical setup’ anyways, and most monitor some or all of these sensors and control loops already. If they have tested it appropriately, I would expect it to work very well.
