Eh, I think the mortgage interest deduction would be an excellent one to remove, but I doubt the Republicans would touch it-benefits the wealthy too much.

This may be the best Fancy Kristen yet. That headline is amazing. I hooe you just look at Hamilton Nolan’s last week and say ‘Who would he literally not piss onif they were on fire?’
If you have an accreddited degree-so a degree from any engineering school in Canada, basically-you pay to take a PPE and have a work record with references, and we have an annual fee. A lot of companies pay for those directly (like mine) and if not they are tax deductible at least. The fundamentals course is skipped…
Haha, not sure what you mean! Man, what an old comment. The licensed engineers certainly profit from having their professional designations protected; they are assume liability with that designation though, which is supposedly a fair trade off. The provinicial associations are not exactly big money makers; they are…
Man, didn’t realize that, that’s awesome.
Holy crap, a factory LSD in a FWD drive car?! When was that last offered? Maybe on some Minis, and the old Cobalt SS?
Well, yes. But that is part of why I love it. I love long luxury vehicles with RWD and bug engines. A Jag XJR was a great way to get one.
Ah, makes a little more sense. Hopefully they are both as good as the ZF 8 speed. The 6 speed in the Impala is good, but not quite at the level of the ZF8
Wait-is this thing being offered with both the 8 and 9 speed ZF transmissions as options? Because I’d rather get ‘stuck’ with the 8 speed, from everything I’ve read about the 9 speed.
Obviously the remaining QBs are a tier below, but...man, most of them still look like an upgrade from Osweiler.
I bet it was better than mid 90s GM! But the Cobalt SS in question debuted in 2008, and yeah, it does seem dated, and it is just hand assembled plastic. The Cobalt SS was never loved for its interior, but there are very few 1995 interiors that don’t look really cheap and crappy by today’s standards.
Are you looking at those interior shots? That was mediocre for 1995, and even GM was better than that in the mid 2000s. Other than the shape of the seats, the rest of that interior is cheap, shitty plastic garbage. A current Mirage looks nicer. Which was par for the course back then, but it isn’t much to brag about…
The SS is probably nicer inside too...but that isn’t nasking much coming from a 12 year leap in production
So is it the lack of torque, the quantity of oil it burns, or how it rides? :-) Because that LOOKS gorgeous-though the two tone wheels may be too much with the two tone paint.
Yeah, I’m suspicious.
The rusty blue Hyundai Tiburon. I barely fit in it. My wife kept spare wheel bearings in the trunk. I only asked for her number in the first place because she was talking about the Legacy GT she was about to order. Man, it couldn’t arrive fast enough. Let’s talk about the joys of this thing a little more. It was…
I... I mean, my brain went there too, but I stopped before I hit photoshop. I don’t know whether this is just horrifying or also a little reassuring.
I thought I was having a stroke for second. “Wait, what the hell does Musk have to do with any of this?”
Er, Ryan-quick editing note, I think something was lost in this sentence. Google was pitching Tesla to use Google’s tech, not Uber’s, I’m almost certain.
I would note that car rental agencies sell a variety of coverages; lots are just damage waivers, not insurance, and don’t provide liability either. For National, as an example, you can buy a LDW (Loss Damage Waiver) for damage to the rental, which isn’t insurance but protects you from the car rental agency’s insurer,…
